I arrived at the university grounds an hour before the test.

but of all days, I forgot to bring the letter with instructions.

I went to the "Auditorium" where the test was supposed to be, but there was nothing there.
and worse.... nobody can help me. nobody can speak english and gave crrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuudddde directions.

after basically covering the entire grounds- I made it to the test.

and I sucked!

it was 30% guesswork.
the other 70%, I left blank.

well, that was my real level. I'd vey happy to be in the beginner most group.

tired and went home.

Tuesday, sept. 24.

close call is what I'll describe this day.

stupid is the word reserved for me.

Of course the first day of clas is on thursday, sept 26, 2002.
but you can't just walk in and announce in the midle of a class that you want to join that class.
There must be a placement/ assesment test to determne my level.

but guess what? I missed it.

so dumb that I just lookrd forward to the first day, and too dumb to read the admission letter.
which said that the test was to be taken on Monday, sept 23.
FUUUUCK!

I fukkkin missed it.

called the admin office. there's another test tomorow.
I can take it then.

fukkin whew!

Great big leap yesterday. Am giving myself a big pat on the back.

Was actually able to go around Seoul alone, using the bus and the subway.

It was not bad at all. Got my first pay too. hehehe

I'll be taking my assessment test today and I'll have to to the other side of the han river to get there.

Things are starting to pick up now. hopefully enough for me to handle.

Roommate is starting to be a total dick. Hopefully it's just in pasing.

If this keeps on, might have to cut this trip short.

Or move out. I will not be treated Third World.

While the rest of the world (that's awake) rush back into prison they call work, I'm here, lazing away. an extra day that is.
I'll rush into my own cell on.....hmmm....I almost forgot, I'm currently unemployed and back to the life of being a student.
In a foreign country. Korea. Beautiful, charming.

What's the school like? What are the students like?
I read in the website that thier foreign students come from 115 countries.
Will I make new friends? Agh. Screw them.
Don't care that much. Most important thing- make a new girlfriend.
